Riley Mungall is a writer and illustrator residing in Washington state. She’s worked as a freelance illustrator for two decades, favoring surrealism and story art. While art and writing have always been her passion, Riley started out working in animal behavior, a profession that consisted of living with a

pack of wolves for a year.

Growing up queer, Riley always wanted to write YA stories that focused on more than just coming out. She set out to obtain her MFA in 2015, and has been honing her writing skills ever since. Her favorite place to write is on a sail boat in the Pacific Ocean.
